This seems like a software issue that can be corrected in a future update, which was my understanding of the purpose of this thread.
I hate the way this works. I pull my car out of the garage in the AM and then finish getting ready, loading up, making coffee, etc.
The whole time it is constantly stealing my Bluetooth signal from my phone and the headset I might be listening to as I come in and out of range. Not only stealing any audio I might be playing but starting a podcast even if I'm not. Best case I lose my place and miss some, worst case it's "adult" subject matter and my son is in or climbs into the car while it's playing without me realizing it.
This also happens on remote start at my office, huh? And while I'm moving the Jeep around and hooking up a trailer. It's really nice under other circumstances, if it just had a simple on/off switch it would be much less annoying as I could turn it off when I wanted to avoid this effect! It could also ask me first before it stole my audio and/or started a podcast. Or even better yet sense when I was in the seat and not do it at all if I was outside the vehicle.
I always think wtf, who makes a radio you can't turn off!!
