UConnect Acting Crazy

UConnect and my iPhone 5 have always worked effortlessly since I bought the Jeep. Now out of the blue, the UConnect on my '14 GC SRT is acting all wacky.

Uconnect keeps telling me that I have a "Incoming Call: Office" (but I don't) and then "Audio Transferred" iPhone to Phone. I try to 'Transfer Back' but it won't let me or allow me to access the UConnect Phone Book, Recent Calls, or Messaging - not that Messaging ever worked to begin with.

I've gone into Settings and fully deleted my iPhone from UConnect and have even changed the name of my phone on my iPhone. I've even deleted my Office number from my iPhone (it now shows on Uconnect as the numerical number). It's like it's latched into the memory or something.

I've even rebooted UConnect back to Factory Settings (don't do this) and have fully reinstalled UConnect (13_43_7) and am about to update it to the latest version (14_25_4).

Failing this, can anybody offer any help??

Edit: Prior to this I noticed that my 'Easy Exit Seat' doesn't engage and my radio stays on even after leaving the vehicle. I used to turn off as soon as I opened the door.

Re: UConnect Acting Crazy

After more screwing around with it to no avail, in a moment of clarity, I thought "hey, just maybe it isn't this Chrysler stuff" (because Chrysler stuff is notorious for screwing up,right?). So I gazed harshly at my iPhone and simply turned it on and off. Problem solved. It turns out to be the iPhone 5 was buggin' and not letting go of the calls.

Hopefully this will be helpful to someone in the future.

I had the exact same problem. I unpaired, then paired again and deleted the connection on the iPhone Bluetooth. It seems to be working now but no contacts in my favorites on the uconnect. It's always something.

Re: UConnect Acting Crazy

Yeah, I bet I deleted and disconnected that iPhone about 30 times before I figured it out. Funny thing is that my iphone is one of the batch that has a faulty sleep/wake button. Glad it turned off and turned back on for that matter.

I have to get that fixed.
