UConnect Phone Issue with 430N

Paired my Verizon LG VX8350 to 430N UConnect Phone. Pairing worked fine but every time I get in Jeep I get message on phone saying "Open Flip to Connect". Then I open phone and have message "Bluetooth PBAP Requested by Uconnect. Accept?" and then a "yes" or a "no" choice. If I say Yes it downloads Phonebook but doesn't connect. Spoke to UConnect service and they say the VX8350 is a compatible phone, but could not provide a solution. Anyone else having same issue?

Re: UConnect Phone Issue with 430N

Delete this phone from the list of paired devices and try to pair it again.

Tried that all ready, no luck. Has anyone else had this problem?

Re: UConnect Phone Issue with 430N

I have a Samsung SGH-A837. It will not download the phonebook at all. Phone works fine and connects without doing anything upon vehicle entry.

I also checked with the Uconnect people about the phonebook deal. They couldn't tell me if my phone was compatible with the 430 or not. The representative essentially reads from the uconnect manual and anything more they "just don't know" or tell you to contact your phone provider.

Re: UConnect Phone Issue with 430N

I have several years old Pantech PN-820 (calmshell phone running Windows Mobile). I don't think my phone has capability to download phonebook at all. However, I can create entries in 430N using voice command by specifying name and number. Less convenient but it works.
