Uconnect Phone Question

After the ignition is switched to OFF, how do you transfer a call from the Uconnect back to the cell phone if you are leaving the car? I didn't want to lose the call by disconnecting it on the touch screen.

Re: Uconnect Phone Question

Depends on the phone. The iphone has a connection source right on the call screen to choose where you want the call to go. There should be a bluetooth menu when you are connected so you can switch the call back to the handset.

Re: Uconnect Phone Question

Depending on the phone there may be a soft or hard button to press on your phone to switch the bluetooth off. Also once the power is off to the radio (including auxilary power) the bluetooth shuts off and your cell phone takes over.

Re: Uconnect Phone Question

I beleive there is a button on the radio that will move the call back to the phone. Just hit this button before you shut the truck off and the call should now be on the phone.

On the 430n, there is a soft button. Also, you can hit the uconnect button on both the 430/730N and say "transfer call" and it sends the call to your phone. On the iPhone, you just select your choice and it is a pretty seamless transfer.
