UConnect update on Mac - PLEASE HELP

Ok - I am a long-time mac user and am very proficient with it. But this is driving me crazy.

I downloaded the update file directly from the UConnect website (filename MY13_MY14_RA4_15_26_1.zip) and then decompressed it (into filename swdl.iso).

I then opened up swdl.iso and it becomes a mountable drive (named CDROM) and I copy the contents of CDROM onto my thumb drive.

I then insert said thumb drive into my jeep (in RUN position) and it seems to read it, plays a variety of sounds (including a phone ringing sound) and then just cycles playing 16 different things back and forth.

ANY clues?

Thanks!

You need to follow the instructions. Do NOT open (mount) the .iso file. An iso is a disk image, imagine it as a CD or DVD but without the actual disc.
Format your USB stick to FAT32 with Disk Utility. Once done copy the .iso file straight onto the USB.
When you insert this into the Jeep, it will read the iso file in the same way as if you just inserted a CD/DVD/Blu Ray and start the process. As you are copying the contents, the Jeep no longer sees that a disc has been inserted.
