The links in Post 1 have been used by many and are proven fast. I can now recommend that as the better route.... AS LONG AS you know which radio you have.
I have had the problem on both, on the mega it started off great then got to 91% and just quite, not sure what happen.

Bigpappy,
Yours must really not be working correctly. I leave mine on auto all the time. When I remote start the a/c starts working. As soon as I touch the drivers door handle it turns off, as soon as I hit the start button it turns back on to auto again. Don't have to touch the ac controls at all.

I have mine set on auto also but I didn't think it was working because when I open the door it wasn't blowing but it starts working once I push the start button....I didn't realize it was working before I opened the door, I'll have to check that out!

Roll your windows down or try opening your passenger door first, you'll see.

No, double click the file and extract its contents to the USB drive. It's a Compressed file.

Did the update on my Dad's Overland (128892 - early Feb build), his SD card was intermittently reading and not, lots of screen lockups. Now, it is FAST, the SD card works fabulous as well. Switching from one mode to another is just so much more responsive. His Jeep was originally at version 13.0.5.

Ok update installed in about 15 to 20 minutes.

Screen is much faster. I was able to finally resync my iPhone 4 -- hoping it will stay in sync.

Thank you to all in this thread!!

Lol, the sad part is I am 28, and I shouldn't feel old at this age, but a couple of months ago I saw some teenage kids and thought that they should be in school and must be up to trouble, doh!

I guess so, I think it stays on when until I open the door, but mine doesn't turn back on once I hit the start button.

Maybe it's not a Uconnect problem? hmmm

Re: UConnect updates available NOW!

Just finished my UConnect update. I used my MacBook Pro for the computer side of things and updated the software in my 2014 JGC Limited w/o incident. I d'loaded from the UConnect update site (after waiting and waiting and....), my Mac unzipped and loaded file to USB. From there I followed the d'loaded directions and it was a breeze--eight minutes for update.

The only time I hesitated is when the radio function returned and the final "Do you want to update" screen hadn't appeared, but I decided to wait it out and after two minutes, the screen appeared and I finished per the instructions.

All settings remain in place, the soft key remains labelled Apps, but there is a tiny 1x next to it on the right side. I haven't driven far enough to gauge other changes that may have occurred as a result of the update.

I hope others had the easy time that I had....

A big time thank you to Willx and others for the initial info and the follow-ups through the past two days!!!
