Update has been installed for about twenty-four hours, no issues yet, thankfully!
Does this include at night, in auto when the dash lights switch over?

Re: UConnect updates available NOW!

Don't know about the night time condition; I tested in the day time. My practice is to leave the headlight switch in Auto at all times. Now, when I need to have some illumination in the cubby, I'll turn on the parking lights or headlights.

Actually, the all time best way to see in the cubby is to use the flashlight from the cargo compartment! Of course, that presents problems while driving....

Just use the autopilot switch next to the passenger seat eject before you climb in the back.... Don't mix those up either, don't want to see you on YouTube flying out the sunroof on the interstate.

Anyway, I think in auto it does come on at dark, at least when I was doing my A/C test with the vehicle indoors it did. Again too many variables on some items, so I am just trying to understand the intent behind the design.

Maybe the 2017 will have LO-JACK and we will just plug the back of our head into the radio and "think" more light in the cubby and it will happen..... Or the rear hatch will open as we are driving down the highway. Haha.... I didn't get much sleep last night

RA4 with 13.10 software installed.
Roki, exactly the same problem on mine. The climate system is just off when using remote start. Stay tuned, a fix is coming mid July.

What version are you running? Did you read post 1 and have you tried the update. We know Roki is not running the updated software so we would like to know if this is fixed after the update?

Thanks,

Not if you plan ahead.

Re: UConnect updates available NOW!

Just installed the update. Seems Chrysler's servers are doing better; the update downloaded fairly quickly. Everything went very smoothly. Did not even lose the XM presets.

Re: UConnect updates available NOW!

Installed update smoothly. Still have radio and XM presets.

Two issues not addressed:

1. Screen still does not revert back to previous state after an incoming phone call is terminated.
2. In "media", shuffle mode still not possible within a folder. If you hit "shuffle" within a folder, it shuffles the entire contents of the USB or SD card.

It rebooted again this morning with no phone paired to Bluetooth and nothing plugged into the USB. Again it happened after doing a voice command relates to the Nav. Show map and cancel guidance have both preceded a reboot of the system.

Interesting... I was doing verbal set and cancel of destination during my testing because of the comment you had made. I had 2 Bluetooth devices and an iPad connected all at the same time and in about 30 minutes of driving I couldn't get it to mess up. Going to look through the Star Cases tomorrow because someone said there was a July update coming to fix these issues but I don't recall seeing that.

I guess it could be a hardware issue. Do you know if anybody has had their 8.4AN swapped out and actually had that resolve these type of issues?
