Both the service writer and the tech tried to find something about it in their system ... nothing.
I dropped off a copy of the instructions yesterday while my service writer was out. He just called to say thanks, as nobody knew anything about this.

. In Dealerconnect all you do is type in the 2014 year and select the Jeep Grand Cherokee (WK) and then type "UConnect"
One of the first ten items is STAR Case #S1308000143 "USB Radio Software Update"
I will summarize as I am not authorized to distribute....
We will say the STAR Case was posted around about 10-15 days before the update software was released to customers. It explains the server will be slow (Duh) They are going to distribute some "Discs" to the dealers with the same info. It is very much the same instructions as on the website that we posted in post #1 except it explains about downloading both files types for the 2 different radios.
I will PM those who complained their dealer didn't know about this because I think you should complain. The STAR Case has been available since well before we even started this thread.
