Good point... We all probably figure everyone else will... Or at least that was my feeling. We should probably put up or shut up I suppose.

Technically, we are/do have service(1 year). I know the remote start and locking features through the app work so technically they are providing some level of service. The beauty is, in the beginning, uconnect was this gray cloud that no one knows about so anything that works is a plus i suppose.

Did the update last week with no issues until 10 minutes ago. My navigation screen stayed zoomed out on its own. Couldn't zoom in or out. Had to restart the truck 2 times before it finally went back to normal.

By the way, I've been driving around all day and have not received any messages about subscribing to uconnect. Could it be specific to certain models of the truck?

Well, did you ever register your unit?

What gets me is our one year free starts before full functionality is released... It shouldn't start until UConnect is fully operational. I tried to lock my jeep though my phone the last two days and was told my session had expired so no-can-do, with no option to refresh my session. I would not pay twenty bucks a month for the privilege of randomly sometimes controlling my car and using apps that tie into my phone and use up the bandwidth I payed for via my phone company - that 'privilege' should be free...

Overall, I love my Jeep, but the UConnect service is dismall at this point. Luckily in the US, 911 has to work whether you pay for uConnect or not...

Yes sir. Used the remote start options quite a few times already.

I think there is merit in asking for a trial extension....

X2!! Seems that these music apps will be nothing more than a user interface with the touch screen? So why is it taking so long to get them active?

I've had that problem a couple of times already. I had to delete the phone software and reinstall it. Once reinstalled, it worked fine. The phone software itself definitely needs to be updated.

From what I gather on the freezing.... I would suggest waiting to see if it recovers for a whole before restarting the vehicle. If apps are updating in the background it might be better to see if they can finish what they are doing.

The screen in the uconnect store changed a bit for me. It used to say "advantage package purchased". Now it says "trial included".

I had this issue the other day with the app. The way I got it to work is to logout and log back in within the app.
