Too bad you didn't write the owner's manual. That is a far better set of instructions than what is in it.

+1... the last decade manuals and documentation in general about operation has slipped huge. On the other hand a single software update can also completely alter the functionality of certain systems. I would like to see online knowledge base for vehicles available to the public.

Re: UConnect updates available NOW!

Since doing the update the Sirius presets & favorites switch back and forth at each start up between the presets that were set before the update and presets that have been set since the update. The presets that were prior to the update were wiped out and now have returned with this behavior. A minor but annoying problem. Since the update there have been no reboots and loss of Sirius sat signal is less frequent. There was the spat of notifications that everyone was getting for a few days but those are gone now.

Re: UConnect updates available NOW!

Not sure if this is a "design feature" or a glitch, but the Media iPod seems to de-select shuffle mode every time I turn the vehicle off. Is there some preference or setting to ave it keep the shuffle mode?

Interesting, first time I have seen this but I will add it to my little running list.

Which gen iPod is it and is it running the latest iOS? I don't think this is radio related but it is possible?

Re: UConnect updates available NOW!

It's a 5th gen iPod, non touch model, so iOS is not really an issue. Otherwise it works great with the system. Even shows pretty much all the album art.

I'm also seeing this behavior after the latest update.

Re: UConnect updates available NOW!

Willx, I was referencing AZhiCntry's issue with Sirius switching back and forth on presets, not the ipod issue.

I had this same thing happen this weekend but it looks like mine got confused on which key fob to use for the presets as both keys were in the Jeep at the same time when I started it and I didn't use the key fob to unlock the door (used the handle).

Are the people having preset issues only using one key, or do they have both keys present at the same time which might confuse the Jeep depending on how you unlock it?
