Re: uConnect/VR Stopped Working - 430N

After 3 months all of a sudden my Uconnect of the 430 stoped working without ever having syncronized a phone or so. Pulled the fuse (M12) but that didn't resolve the issue. Brought it to the dealer yersterday, they reseted the 430, issue resolved. It was a 10 min job. Hope it won't happen again.

Re: uConnect/VR Stopped Working - 430N

My 430 didn't come on at all yesterday. I turned off and started the GC multiple ties but no luck. Finally, I pulled out the m10 fuse for a few minutes and that did the trick.

Good point Red. M12 is the radio fuse, M10 the hands free module. Next time I try that before going to the dealer.

Yeah, I got it backwards...I pulled the (m12) radio fuse. I'll keep the M10 in mind if I have probes with my uUconnect.

Re: uConnect/VR Stopped Working - 430N

My 430N just started exhibiting this problem after 6 months of working fine. I pulled M10 and M12 for 30 seconds and I am back in business. Thank you for posting the fix!

Re: uConnect/VR Stopped Working - 430N

Just picked up a 2011 today and we didn't test the uconnect until we got home and it was giving the same error. Ppulling the M10 worked great!

Re: uConnect/VR Stopped Working - 430N

I had a similar issue as well, VR buttons did not work. I tried to pull the fuse but that didn't work. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the HFM module. On the bright side I got the newer version (over the 2011 version) and the bluetooth streaming works much better. Ever since the replacement, have had no issues.

After I paired my iPhone with my 2014 GC Summit, I started up the Jeep and drove down the road. Upon attempting to call someone by voice command, the UConnect locked up. Could not use climate control and Nav was blacked out!
After complete shutdown and start up, everything is fine for now. I'll keep an eye out for any other glitches!
