Agreed - you would have the same issue if you took the signal directly from the MyGig unit or from the factory amplifier. Both of them would be signals that have already been amplified, and with that you get all of the stuff that the amplifier introduces, including all DSP, noise, etc. One way to get around that is to install a different head unit, the other way is to use something like the PAC C2A-CHY23 and accept its limitations. It's a device that takes the signal off the CAN Bus and gives you a 2 channel analog output without any EQ/DSP on the signal.
