Upgraded media 130 to mygig 730n (rhr)

Took my 2012 Grand Cherokee (Laredo) with existing UConnect to the dealer yesterday to install the 730n and the back-up camera. Tech called and said it was all set and I can come pick it up, first thing I tried was the USB in the center console and it didnít work. Everything else seemed to be fine but didnít really check it out. This is the parts which I brought from justforjeeps.com.

Item #82212906
RHR Wiring Adapter Kit

Does this include the jumper cable to connect to the USB?

What could be wrong to not allow this to work?

Please help...

Just got a call from the tech and all seems to be good. He got the USB to work.

I'm looking to do the same thing as you, minus the backup camera. I ordered My RHR off of eBay. How much did the dealer charge you? What was the solution to the remote USB?

Since you had the 430n, the armrest USB port is wired to the U-Connect module. The 730n doesn't use that module. You need to run a new wire directly to the USB jack on the back of the head unit. This was discussed in this forum a year ago; do some searches.
