Hey all, just got myself a brand spanking new 2011 overland 4x4 5.7. Brilliant black with black interior. Love it!

I'm new to this forum and def not a jeep fanatic like some of you guys, but Im getting there :)

One thing that I noticed straight away was that you cannot enter a new address in the Nav while driving. I get the safety reasons, but allowing usage for the passenger makes sense to me.

I did a little bit of research and came across the lockpick device you can install. Just wanted to know if there was any way around this without a lockpick tho?

Thanks!

Thanks. Seems a little hardcore for what I need.

It does look like there are some ppl who claim you can cut the 'brown wire' and grounding it to trick the car into thinking it's in park. hmm...doesnt seem like a good idea.

Guess I may just shell out for the lockpick :(

Get the lockpick I have the 730 on mine and it is worth it. Especially for roadtrips with the family you can throw in a DVD and drive with it playing not to mention the ability to do anything on the unit just like you are in park. Its an easy install too.
