Well that does explain why it is abysmally slow. It, perhaps, also explains why it understands my English accent but isn't so good with my wife's Californian. Probably also why it repeats back "Sweet Tomatoes" in the English pronunciation and then reads out the eight identical restaurant names at varying distances in the American pronunciation.
I won't be paying $15/mo for this when my contract runs out.
