Was getting a 730n a mistake?

I ordered a jeep this week with the 730n. Since then I have read about there being issues with it. Should I have just stuck with the standard one on my limited?? Or are the issues not a big deal?

Re: Was getting a 730n a mistake?

I could not live without my uConnect on my 730N and I have had no issues with both my 2011 Summit and 2012 Town and Country units. I also use voice recognition literally everyday so in my opinion, you made the right choice.

Trust me, when you order something and are thinking about it everyday, you sometimes think about nonsense and tend to over-exaggerate everything in your head. It's a more expensive option because its a better unit, period.

Hey sined240.

Did you mean to say that you could not live "without" the 730N?

Just curious, as I too have read a lot (negative) about the unit......

Re: Was getting a 730n a mistake?

I have the older 730N RER in my overland. Its very similar with a few minor differences. Not on wood I've had no issues with the unit. I only wish it had sirius rewind/pause where as the 430 does, not sure if the RHR 730N does.

Re: Was getting a 730n a mistake?

I think you made the right choice - I hate the Garmin nav on my 430 - I wish I could put the 730 in my GC like in my old Commander.
