Re: what do you think about installing a Alpine INA-W900BT

I bought this unit yesterday..http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...-P4300DVD.aspx

i understand that alpine unit is supposed to have navigation in.... but.... i think you might be abble to get the price lower by shopping around a lower cost headunit if thats what your thinking.

I found that alpine unit for around 750-800... depends on the difficulty of installation and if the need to get you a new dash kit...

Re: what do you think about installing a Alpine INA-W900BT

A friend of mine got the 900 and the bt module separate. The BT has limited functionality, like you can stream music over bluetooth. You might be better off get the w900 and the BT module separately. Also, make sure you have the latest update for the fimware, he had issue where the screen went blank or would randomly reboot.

Other than that, he likes it. Also, if you decide to use the imprint to tune, there is a switch on the back of the unit that needs to be moved for it to work correctly. Its not mentioned in any of the documentation.
