What Happened to the 730 Nav?

On the Jeep site doing the "build my own" and the 730 nav is no longer listed. Only has the 430 shown. Was in the dealer this weekend and they were only giving me the 430 as an option if I was going to build my own.

Yeah who knows the Jeep website is pretty much worthless. The 730N RHR is available to order but you are right Jeeps website does not show for this.

Re: What Happened to the 730 Nav?

Ordered my Overland this past weekend, and was told by my salesman that the 730N RHR is the ONLY unit Jeep will be now using going forward.

And you believe a salesman at a dealership? Around these parts, we look to Milous for answers and take any salesman's word with a grain of salt.

At the moment, the 430N is standard for the Overland, and the 730N is an upcharge. The 730N is standard on the Summit.

If Jeep were to discontinue the 430N, they'd probably do that as part of a general price increase (ugh!). Maybe for the 2012 models? We can speculate.

Re: What Happened to the 730 Nav?

Well if that's the case, then I really made out, because he told me since it's the only unit now being offered, there was no additional charge for it!

Re: What Happened to the 730 Nav?

According to my Overland order sheet dated 1/31/11 the "Media Center 730N RHR CD/DVD/MP3/HDD/NAV has an MSRP of $465. I do not recall being asked if I wanted it when ordering but would have definitely requested it if I had the option.

I'm not known to be overly patient. I feel this Jeep will buid lots of charactar before I even get it.
