Where can i find a 430N Navi guys?

Just got a 2013 GC 26X package and security and convenience group and it came with the reg 430 Hu. I'm wanting the 430N with Garmin navi but on Ebay all I can find is $1800 units and on just for jeeps there the same price. Is this how much there going for?

If you have a decent salvage yard in your area, they should be able to locate one for you. These folks have been networking long before anyone even heard of the internet.

Just need to be patient and keep an eye out for postings on ebay. I got mine from there a couple months ago.

Re: Where can i find a 430N Navi guys?

Honestly, with these newer generation vehicles, I suspect there are a lot less "rip and replaces" for the factory gear because the systems are pretty decent for most folks and because the advanced computer busses that connect everything together in the vehicle make installing after-market stuff a little more painful. I agree with eibyer...patience will be required. But checking salvage yards is also a good thing because this kind of thing often can be removed out of a totaled vehicle, be working and sold.

Re: Where can i find a 430N Navi guys?

Just went through this process lol... I snatched up a 430n from a dealer in Kansas who posted it up on eBay the guy special ordered it and the customer never showed! I got it for 1300 . Be carful of used units because other dealers ask for proof and you never know if they fully work unless they are on and you go through the ringer with them.... Mine was brand new....
Hope this helps to be honest the nav is nothing to write home about so your not missing much lol
Is keep watching eBay every so often dealers sell these units and discount them heavily

Oh ok got ya. Man I know its just a OEM unit and its nothing amazing just want the factory look I can do a top of the line kenwood but then I have to deal with the back up cam not working and it not looking OEM. If this dam thing is going to cost over 1200 this is going to suck.

Re: Where can i find a 430N Navi guys?

I recently picked one up on Ebay for $500. 2011 unit - no antitheft to mess with. It took about a month of searching a few times a week on Ebay before it popped up. They're a bit rare, but out there.

I got 430N for 450 on ebay. 2011 version so no anti theft code needed. My parts department guy added the radio to my vin.

The nice thing about the 430n (RHB) It is completely plug and play if you already have uconnect and sirius. On the 730's I think you have to install some kind of jumper for the uconnect.

Whichever radio you get, make sure it will fit a Grand Cherokee. Rhe mounting tabs have to be on the top and bottom. If it has anti theft get the code from seller.
