Which speakers to tap from?

Does it matter which speaker's i tap into for my lc6i? Gonna sum all channels together. I have components up front, rear coaxs and 2 subs. So 2 amps total. I was gonna grab from left and right front speaker and run it to lc6i then tap again all 4 speakers to run to amp. Would this work?

Re: Which speakers to tap from?

I have the alpine, 10 speaker system and I used the front doors, tweeters and sub to get a full signal.

Re: Which speakers to tap from?

I have 430n headunit , alpine system. The way the installer had it is that he took both front speaker's ran it to channel 2 on the lc6i. Someone it allowed me to get 3 outputs. I opened it up and i see he didnt sum the channels. When i was putting my crossovers in the doors i hit the wires by accidentally and now only 2 of the outputs work so im sending it in to audiocontrol.

I dont know how only sending the signal channel 2 on the lc6i allows the main output and channel 2 and 3 output to work

Re: Which speakers to tap from?

Well i talked to the installer. He didnt tap into the front speakers he bypassed the front speakers at the oem amp location. I thought he tapped into them keeping the oem amp in line with the lc6i he didnt as far i know. Because now when i disconnect my lc6i i have no sound in all 4 door speaker's
