1. If it is a real misfire the engine computer should be capable of seeing it, and log an service code. My 2000 dakota had a dirty plug and the coil pack was arcing throught the boot, took 2-3 minutes of missing and the check engine light came on. It actually told me the cylinder number, and it was a coil pack failure/misfire
2. If you are talking about the surge / miss / shudder sensation during cruise control, with MDS on, going up a hill 45-60 mph, feeling like the engine has no power - welcome to the club. They are working on it.
3. If it is a serious stutter / miss - beat the hell out of the dealer. Since you bought it in 2010, have you checked for any TSB's??
4. Since you bought it in 2010 and have been just deailing with it, you have probably missed your chance to return it.
I would chase the TSB's. Contact a good lemon law lawyer, and take to the dealer as many times as it takes.
