2013 GC Eco Mode Off?

Hi all,

I've searched far and wide and can't find a concrete answer.
Can you turn off the Eco Mode on the 2013, and if so how?

Thanks in advance.

I didn't think the eco mode was available until the '14 MY. At least with an on/off button.

If you mean the "ECO" display on the EVIC screen, that's just telling you when you the engine is in 4-cyl mode. You can disable the indicator from coming on, but you can't actually turn off MDS except by putting your foot on the gas.

Yep that's what I mean. Ok, no worries... Sometimes I feel like I really have to hit the gas to climb a hill here and there. Didn't know if it was normal. Just got the 13 on trade and its new to me!

If you have tow/haul button that will also keep mds from kicking in (I believe).

You can disable it with the Diablosport tuner as well.

I've towed with mine a little and I haven't seen the "ECO" display come on when it's in TOW/HAUL mode. I looked in the EVIC and there's now way to disable it

Yes, I do this all the time. Love that I can downshift it whenever I want to.

Btw, you can go directly back to Eco/Drive by holding the gear shift to the right for a second or two.
