2014 GC Diesel Summit Intruments Question

On my GC instrument panel is the standard list of gear postions as :

P, R, N, D/S to show your current gear.

Beside the D or S is a very faint, barely readable small number showing which actual gear its in; 1 to 8.

Is there any magic way to make that little number much brighter to read it in daylight.

Thanks

Re: 2014 GC Diesel Summit Intruments Question

The only way I've been able to do this is putting it in sport mode, or using the paddle shifters.

^^That's it.

You can also remove it completely in the gauge settings. Or you can reduce them to just the current gear instead of the full PRND, which might make it easier to see.
