2014 GC Limited flat tow

Nello all,
I'm new here and hope this is the correct page to post my question.
I have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited that I will be flat towing very soon.
Is there any stopping after so long I need to do to lube internals or can this thing just be set to nuetral per manual and go?
Thx for the help in advance
Marty

Re: 2014 GC Limited flat tow

There are NO restrictions. That distinguishes Jeeps automatics from many others. I flat tow my 2014 w/Quadratrac 2 frequently. There isn't anything you need do except have a compatible tow system; I use Blue Ox. In addition almost all states require auxiliary braking which is quite wise as it reduces problems on the tow vehicle including handling, as well as assures you conform with all laws of every state you travel in.

I find that the 14 (mine has factory towing and off road), tows superbly, far better than the '07 GC it replaced. I usually tow at 70mph but do tow faster occasionally behind a 35 ft class A.

Enjoy

There isn't any restriction on the Quadratrac 2; no sped or anything else. I tow my '14 GC frequently, all you need is a compatible tow system (I use Blue OX), and because of the weight you should install a passive braking system with brake away, not only to reduce wear on your tow vehicle but also to conform with state laws requiring brakes.

I find that the '14 tows superbly compared to the '07 it replaced.
