2014 GC Summit Front Air Dam Removal

Hi folks I am looking for the step by step process on how to remove the front air dam on a 2014 GC Summit. I have searched around a good bit and there is information on the overland/limited but I have not been able to come up with any thing on the summit. I have looked under at it and there appears to be more to it than just removing the 7 quarter turn fasteners as the manual says, which is likely geared towards overland/limited. Summit's air dam is a bit different. I'm not looking to remove the entire bumper cover just the lower air dam. Anyway if anyone as any info on how to do this it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

yeah i think they do come off i have seen them with out it on in video, not sure that it as easy to get off as overland though. i can just start taking things off was just hoping someone had done this might save me a few steps. not leaving it off just want to put tow hooks on.

Did you find a way to remove your air dam?

Cheers,
