Re: 2014 Grill Insert Swap to Honeycomb and Grill Rings Help

Thanks for the tips guys, top down method worked like a charm. Cut my arms up BAD though so wear a long sleeve shirt. The middle piece is stubborn if you don't take the side 2 pieces out first so make sure to remove all 3 pieces then put in all new 3 pieces. Don't take a piece out then replace it, and so on and so fourth.

Re: 2014 Grill Insert Swap to Honeycomb and Grill Rings Help

Just replaced mine today using the top-down method. It worked but I think it would have been easier to take the bumper off and spend a bit more time on it. Anyway, I didn't break anything, it took a lot of moving the inserts around to get the tabs to come out. The end result looks great. How do I post pics here?

Any before and after pictures? I'm considering the Honeycomb inserts as well swapping out the lower grille with the chrome one.

First post. 2016 white Summit. Used the top down method; replaced the grill inserts and rings at the same time. Took about 45 minutes total and I scratched my arm up. I never used any tool for the inserts. I pushed them towards the radiator with some force and all the inserts popped out. Used a trim removal tool for the rings.

I did the top down method as well. Piece of cake, just takes a bit of elbow grease.
