Hi,
Trying to deactivate the movement sensor part of the car alarm on my 2012 GC limited. On most cars I have owned this is made possible for ferry travel etc. Cant find anything in the hand book that allows this function. Any ideas out there ?
I didn't think there was a motion sensor part of the alarm. I thought it was triggered if someone tries unlocking a door by reaching in or breaking through a window and pulling up on the door lock...I'm probably mistaken though.

He has an export model which actually has an alarm siren instead of just blowing the horn some it may have a different module that controls the the functions of that system.
I seem to remember reading that you need to lock and unlock the car 5 times to deactivate the ultrasonic sensor. I think you need to do the same to enable it again
