Battery Compartment

Does anyone know how the front seats flip up for access to the compartments?
Thanks

Re: Battery Compartment

I didn't notice if the seat flipped up, but I was able to move the front passenger seat way forward (to the point where one's legs would be crushed between the seat and the dash) and pop open the compartment lid.

Huh????

The battery compartment can be accessed easily by moving the passenger seat all the way UP and all the way FORWARD. Don't forget the UP part, it pivots the seat forward. If the battery is dead you will need to provide power via the jumper points under the hood.

I have no idea on a non power seat, if those even exist on the WK2.

Re: Battery Compartment

I used a flat bar to pry up the front and rear end of the battery cover panel. It snaps on both ends.

And we searched for the answer....see it's right here.

Re: Battery Compartment

How is one supposed to move the POWER seat up if the battery is dead? Jump it first? DESIGN FAIL.
