That's probably what the free LED flashlight is for LOL, when you're crawling in the dark trying to figure out how to manually open the damn thing.

Re: Battery dead...can't open rear liftgate!

This is what you need:

http://www.amazon.com/Antigravity-Ba.../dp/B00FDYYK4A

I have the XP-1 & I have used it on my own totally dead Xterra truck battery, a few times! (I work overseas for 5-6 week jobs) You just clamp on the + and - cables, turn it on, go crank the key & vroom! Once it's fully charged (3 hrs) it will stay charged for atleast 6 months! You could boost 10 trucks in a row, easily! It takes maybe 20 seconds to hook it up, fire up the vehicle, and unhook. It really is amazing! Watch the Youtube videos and you will be buying one! Best invention ever!

Yes!
I just got one of these:
http://www.wagan.com/index.php/7501-ionboost-v6.html

Free through a rewards program at work.
Guess I should stash it in the Jeep, probably under the driver's seat.

Edit: During the summer I'll be carrying on my boat. Should be sufficient to start an Evinrude E-Tec 250HO!
