I have a Laredo-X with 4WD and Heated/Power Seats and mine has the Module (Not shown in your pictures) with the wiring harness going through that rubber plug on the left side of the box (which is shown in your pictures). In any case I've had this thing for over two months and didn't know about this box. Most Excellent! With power seats it's not where I want to put something I might want to get to (tools) if the battery went dead . . . but still . . . I like it!

Yea, you have to tug pretty hard. Grab the rear edge of the cover and pull straight up with a quick snap of a pull. There are two plastic tangs on the cover that snap in. They're pretty robust so I think it would be pretty hard to actually break them.

Re: Discovered the visor on week 3 :)

I haven't check for fit yet, but in the molded hard foam that holds the tools for a tire change there is a space on the left to put you hitch reciever ball mount.
At least that lloks to me it has the shape for that. I dont have a hitch reciever yet. Maybe some one can check for us.

I've read on another forum that the module in the second bin is the quadralift controller. I'll be looking at using this bin for a deep cycle battery.

I had sat on the fob and was within range through the window of the house and it started raining and about 3 minutes into the downpour I looked out the window to notice my windows down, I was bummed BUT glad it was a very short time. it could have been so much worse ....

also since I didn't learn my lesson from that

I had a scenario a couple of months ago. I came out to go home to find my windows down and the computer had locked the ignition system on me, since I had apparently been sitting on the fob and was within range through the window AGAIN.. . I even popped the start button off and tried the key but had no response. The tech at the dealer seems to think I confused the computer by pushing too many buttons at once and it locked itself out. He had to disconnect the positive terminal to reset the computer.

Vrroom vrrrooomm ...

Nice One Shyboy. It's winter Downunder and 95% of the population have colds or flu. Tissues therefore are in great demand. Handy little feature!!
