Did a bunch of searching and couldn't find a DIY write up on how to wire external fog lights to my WK2 Laredo. Turning screws isn't a problem, but wiring stuff always gives me a moment of pause.
Use the relay harness that comes with the foglight.
Use the battery posts from the engine bay to get for the relay.
The question would be how do you want to activate them?
If you want a separte switch you will have to run the trigger wire into the cabin to run your switch and tap into the pink/green for a start/run signal so the fogs only work when the ignition is in the run position. (you can tap the power outlet in the dash for that signal or at the wire to the brake light switch.
If you want to run them cuncurrently with the OEM foglights then you can tap the positive wire of one of the fogs as a trigger signal for the auxiliary foglight relay.
Great.. What if I want to run them independently of the stock fogs and be able to run them with the high beams are on (or when the lows are on)? Any way to do that?

Like he said, instead of tapping low beam or fog for relay trigger, tap any switched +12V. Make sure fuse rating is high enough. If you've never done anything similar, you might want to seek help from a friend who has. There's lots you could screw up when it comes to wiring. You'll need a DVM or volt meter.
Yea, I might have to employ a friend who knows wtf he is doing. Or, one of my jeep brothers on here who live in NY could always step up for a free lunch/beer to help a brother out.
