Fixing the damn mopar chrome tip
I didn't liked to see the clamp and I don't wanted it to be so away from the bumper.... so I decided to twist it a bit and weld it so that I no longer see the clamp, could move it a bit further into the bumper and allow it to better follow the bumper curvature.
The guy that welded it had poor welding skills, but the good thing is that I cannot see the poor job unless I go bellow the GC. I put some paint there to avoid rust.
I painted the tip on the inside to camouflage the factory tip. Next step is to improve the finishing... need to do a second hand and paint the muffler and the rest.
Some lessons learned or improvement opportunities....
If you want it even further into the bumper or want a stronger weld, you can make two new, but smaller, slots and those slots will fit into the muffler's edge.... and get a better welder!
