Hello guys! New member here... just got a used 12 overland and would like to know how to remove this parts since I will embark on a new project...

Also is the mesh grille on the overland removable?

Re: Guys... How can I remove this parts...

Not 100% positive, but i'm pretty sure this subject has been covered. In the upper right quadrant of the forum toolbars, you'll find the search. Try maybe "removing front fascia" Look for something in the WK2 forum.

Is there a website like WKjeeps.com for the WK2 jeeps? with diagrams? I'm not sure about that.

This has definitely been covered.

Re: Guys... How can I remove this parts...

Here's a sticky on top of this section. It should take care of the fascia and fog lights. Once you get the fascia off, the grille comes off easy. How-To: Fog light HID kit in 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee (pic heavy)

Re: Guys... How can I remove this parts...

I also just bought a new '12 WK2 (black). I have ordered Helo He866 black 20" wheels and Cooper Zeon LTZ 275/45r/20 tires. My new project is painting the "chrome" front grill insert. I have already ordered the factory colored paint kit to do this but am wondering, is it possible to "pop" the chrome insert off the grill without having to remove the front bumper and all?

thanks for your help!

It is very possible - I did it on mine - you pull the connectors from under the hood, and gently pull it back. No need to remove the front bumper.

Has anyone replaced their chrome mirror caps yet?
My new ones just arrived....directions are a little scary.
"Pry the mirror off" is where I stopped. LOL.
Anyone possibly know where to find a write-up on this?

Re: Guys... How can I remove this parts...

You just have to pull the mirror until it pops off.

Here's the instructions.

http://site.justforjeeps.com/guide/82212218.pdf

It does say to wear glasses and gloves when working with the mirror.
You don't need to disconnect the negative battery cable.
