Ahhh okay please post pics and tag me when you do I'd love to see how they work out. I'm waiting on xenon depot to reply to me as to which ones are better with the leds they offer

Re: Halogen to LED

How are the leds compared to the halogens in output? The leds in my fogs came up a bit short. However the colors matched much better.

Why would you change from HID to LED? aftermarket HID is brighter and has a longer throw than aftermarket LED?

Because I've seen leds in the halogen headlight housing and I like the spread. Its more even and they will match my fogs and bar.

How do you like those opt7's ? ive been looking around for a while.
Do those have any extra harness or just the small red box it comes with.
Any flickering at all ?

Thanks

They arent bad. I might replace them but the hassle of changing headlights almost isnt worth it lol. I ordered the. OPT7 H11 LED headlights and the Star K H11 Fog lights. I'm currently on my phone so I will try to attach pics.

Re: Halogen to LED

The order should be fogs, low beams, and both. Also the only flickering I have noticed was after I turned my lights off it flickers once. It might just be the bulbs releasing that extra power if that makes sense. But it doesnt happen often. But I've never had flickering while they were on. My fog projectors are dirty but Ithinm once I clean them they might be brighter than the OPT7's. Hope this was remotely helpful.

Re: Halogen to LED

Were you able to get your headlight dust covers back on after installing these?

No I opted not to try, I'm sure I can drill a hole and put some sort of rubber in there but I decided not to. The LED's stick out further than HID's.

OPT7 has all the hardware necessary.

Their kits come with a driver, a capacitor, and a polarity switch. All of which are individual cables and can use whichever you do or don't want/need.

Personally I used nothing but the driver on my high beams(9005 is OE - no flicker and ran great without switch and capacitor), while I had to use both the polarity switch(wouldn't turn on without it) and the capacitor(flickered without it), for the low beams(H11 is OE).

Working with them has been fantastic. I've been extremely happy with their products on my build.
