Re: Hardcopy Owners Manuals

I had a package on my porch tonight and it was from Jeep. I opened it up and the owner's manual was for a 2012 Wrangler.

I called and they will send me the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee (not SRT manual, not Wrangler).

Re: Hardcopy Owners Manuals

Just ordered mine today.
In Canada the number is: 1-800-387-1143

The friendly lady on the other end of the line just asked for the year, make of vehicle, and radio code, and then asked for my name, and address. That was it.

She told me I'd have it in 7 - 10 days.

+1 for that. Very friendly. She asked if I also wanted the multimedia manual and UConnect so I said yes. She didn't ask the radio code but I let her know we have the 430N. She said 10-14 days, I guess because of the holidays.

PDF files are great for reading on a computer, but if I need to check something in the vehicle it's handier to use the hardcopy. Plus I want to see how well it fits in the upper storage section of the glove box!

The hardcopy OM (over 600 pages) will not fit in the upper slot of the glove compartment.

Re: Hardcopy Owners Manuals

I have the 2nd edition, almost 700 pages, and it fits in there with room to spare. Different glove box?

Re: Hardcopy Owners Manuals

I ordered mine over three weeks ago. I think she said 3-4 days. Guess I'm going to have to call again. Probably will wait until next year.

It should. Try again.

You're right. For some reason when I placed the User Guide in the Jeep pouch and placed it in there, I didn't think there was much room in there for anything larger. I just wish the large OM fit inside the Jeep pouch and then fit in that space.

It took about 2 weeks for them to get to me out here on the west coast.

The Canadian OM is so large it has its own Postal Code, and barely fits in the Cargo Area.

Just wait a little longer. I received my RHR Radio book weeks ago, but the OM just arrived today. They told me it was on Back-order.
So if I got mine, you should be getting yours any day.
