Help with Wiring Diagram TechAuthority

Hi, I was wondering if we have any members who are techs for Jeep, and have access to the vehicle diagrams.

My goal is to install the Back up camera without splicing into wires. To accomplish this, I would add the correct wires to the correct pin location on the vehicle's current plugs. For example in the picture below, I already know the missing pins 1, 4, 5 and 7 are part of the camera wiring. For this, I just need to source the correct pin size and crimp it to my custom harness.

My main concern now is to, identify in what plug and location inside the vehicle i could find:

#1- What plug, color and pin location for the F95 Fuse cable is terminated at. (would like to trace this wire to run the 12v source to the camera)

#2- What plug, color and pin location at the BCM is designated for the Camera. (This would be needed to have the "Guide Lines" over the video signal)

If this information isn't available, I would get 12v from somewhere else like the cigarette lighter, or another ACC On location, however one thing that keeps me intrigued:

As per previous Mopar Camera kits install diagram, it is suggested to splice the Camera's 12v into the cigarette lighter 12v which is on while the ACC on. By doing this, the camera would have power and be turned on constantly at all times when the vehicle is running (ACC and RUN). Is the camera designed to stay on all the time? I would imagine that it was designed to be triggered on, only when in reverse.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Thank you Peter,

Yes, the color description for the camera wires match, and the power for the camera does seem to go directly to the Ignition Relay. This side of the install, although a different diagram than the mopar kit, i thought had covered.

Pin 4 is for the liftgate; 1,5,7 for the camera (inline body/liftgate harness #1).

Re: Help with Wiring Diagram TechAuthority

Outstanding! Thank you!

Would you have any idea where to source the pins? The ram harness store guy isn't helping beyond the radio to camera harness with pins. I spent yesterday searching for a yard with a WK2 so I could try to purchase the harness to salvage the pins, but no one locally has a totaled WK2.
