From my research, the Champion pugs are the OEMs, they're re-branded and apparently nearly tripled in price for resale by Mopar. Have been on Hemis for many years now.
I changed mine last month. I bought my wk2 brand new and the plugs in it were ngk. I replaced them with the same ngk mopar plugs. For only $64 and a little over an hour of my time, I wouldn't even consider taking it to the dealer. These were much easier than the plugs in my old 04 4runner where all kinds of stuff was in the way

I thought the OE plug was from NGK

Yes - NGK - LZFR5C–11G I think they have since dropped the G at the end.
Also known as Mopar - SPLZFRC11
NGK part 92174

Here is a great DIY on the process:
DIY: Hemi 5.7L Spark Plug Change
So easy a caveman can do it. Just make sure you use a torque wrench, as I believe the heads are aluminum.

Just found this in the 2014 OM;

"** The spark plug change interval is mileage based only,
yearly intervals do not apply."

Re: Hemi spark plug change interval?

When I did mine, the OEMs were in fact NGKs. Might have been outdated info saying the Champions were OEM.

I don't know if there's any real difference between the NGKs and anything else.

I'd recommend a torque wrench too. The heads in the 5.7l are aluminum and there's a torque value associated with the plugs. At least there is in the Charger; I'm assuming it's the same Hemi. I can look it up if you need it.

Re: Hemi spark plug change interval?

Got a quote from my dealer to do the plugs on my hemi. The plugs were $8 each and it was 1.7 hours of labor. Total cost $344.50. The plugs are NGK and am looking for a better price than $128 for 16 plugs. I'll do it myself.
