Has anyone changed their step surround? I have a 2017 JGC Trailhawk and want the black surround instead of the grey one.

Did you take off the whole bumper? I'm thinking about changing out the surround as well.

No you have to pry up the step pad but you cannot remove that. Then I just released the tabs of the surround and it slid out. Then I installed the new one and pushed the step pad back down and everything locked in.
