Re: Installation: Mopar cargo mat

I'd love to see the manual for installation of military cargo mats.

Re: Installation: Mopar cargo mat

Guess which fool bought the camouflage cargo mat. I layed it out on the garage floor whilst I bandaged up my fingers from the paper cuts sustained ripping open the box and....you guessed it, I can't find it anywhere. I have ordered a thermal imaging camera ($12,627,56c off Ebay) hoping that the camouflaged mat still has a little latent heat in it...should light up like a Christmas tree!! If you buy one, (camo mat that is) make sure you leave it in the clear plastic bag until the very last minute. Buyer beware!!!

EDIT UPDATE....my wife switched on the garage lights whilst I was wearing my new thermal imaging goggles. I was just about homing in on the camouflage mat and now I am off to Thailand for a retina transplant.

Re: Installation: Mopar cargo mat

A little update on mine.
I have discovered the problem with the box. I have been doing it all wrong.
All I need is this thing called a FOB, and I can open it.

Here is the box the mat was delivered in.

Now I just need to find out what this FOB thing is.
It has me confused as to me FOB means Free On Board. But I don’t want to ship the box anywhere, I just want to open it.

Re: Installation: Mopar cargo mat

Hey GlennR, my friend's brother lives in Thailand. Look for the redheaded guy (after the retina transplant).
SNUKE, can't help you get in that box as I have a MY11. Read the manual. Oh wait, it is in the glove compartment which is in the box. Never mind.
P.S. Nice photo.

Re: Installation: Mopar cargo mat

So, I have since traded my 2011 for a 2014. Got a larger boat and the 3.6 just couldn't handle it. Decided to transfer my beloved cargo mat to my newer vehicle. The swap went flawless as far at not runnign into any fittment issues. However, there is no power to the mat. I have checked and double checked the entire electrical system only to find the mat must be flashed to work with model years 14 and newer. Apparently, the mat is programmed to work vehicle specific. Anyone have the 2014 update file I can snag? Really don't want to have to go back to the dealer for more mat issues...

Well... one thing not fully explored in the thread is if MaxCare will cover it?
