Re: Installation: Mopar cargo mat

My dealer installed mine.

I bought the matching floor mats for $80 bucks and they didn't stink any more that I typically do...

Re: Installation: Mopar cargo mat

I bought one in September. It has steadfastly withstood the enormous weight of the grocery bags and the dirty little bootprints of the seven dwarfs, whom I occasionally transport between castles. Yes, if it gets dirty you can turn it upside down and let the carpet rub it clean.

Time required: With break- 1 hour. Without break- 30 sec.
Nicely done. I think that pretty much summed up my installation too.
Although I did add front and 2nd row mats too, so with appropriate beer breaks, it was a whole day adventure.

I have had positive comments from my wife also (since that is where she rides )

Re: Installation: Mopar cargo mat

It also helps levelling the JGC; more weight in the back end.

Re: Installation: Mopar cargo mat

I had the dealer install mine. After 3 hours they said they were done however I couldn't find the cargo mat anywhere. They said that it was some kind of integrated install, whatever. Well a few weeks later I had to check my oil so I popped the hood and low and behold there's the cargo mat sitting on the engine. I wish I would have had this write up then as I would have just installed the mat myself.

Re: Installation: Mopar cargo mat

You know I'm seeing at least a 20HP increase since I installed the mats, the engine is so much more responsive, and the noise reduction from items not sliding around and hitting the sides seems to make the radio sound better. What have you guys been seeing? Wonder if the ECU will compensate eventually like it does for all those CAI kits...

Apparently it has to be turned on in the evic setting as well as being enable by the dealer. I had mine installed when new so i wouldn't know about the HP increase.
Do you think if i get 10 in the back then i would get an extra 200Hp??? food for thought

Oh crap. This is the wrong weekend to lose my mancard. So we went to a charity fundraiser with friends last night featuring an Irish band and Killians Red by the pitcher- I drank Pepsi. Tonight we are going with friends to a steakhouse. I guess I will stick with ice water! This sucks.
