Is this the correct axle fluid?

I'm confused, I know the weight should be 75W85 and found this on Amazon.

However, they also list this other 75W85 so now I have no clue which one of the two I need for my QT1.

Can anyone share some advice? I already purchase 4qts of the wrong ones thanks to the manual and don't want to make the same mistake twice.

Re: Is this the correct axle fluid?

Ermmm...this is what redline recommends for a 2011 WK2 V6 for both differentials:

Red Line Synthetic Oil - Gear Oil for Differentials - 75W140 GL-5 Gear Oil

Re: Is this the correct axle fluid?

yeah it's entirely confusing because Jeep still can't get the manual right but the correct fluid is the GL5 75W85 that 2012 Summit mentioned. here are just 2 of several threads about the oil issues.
Front / Rear Axle Oil Specifications and DIY- 2011 Differential Service/ Fluid Change
For the record I changed my oil out at approx 35000 and used Amsoil 75W90 and haven't had any problems with it. Be prepared that the fluid will be pretty dark from the differential. At least the rear in mine was.

Yes, Redline will take my return and send me this. I can't believe Jeep didn't send me a new manual with the CORRECT axle fluid, or at least a note with the correction. If it wasn't for this forum I would've put the wrong one in. I doubt it would've caused any immediate damage, but I bet it would have long term. Both 80 and 90 are very similar per Redline's support but they will be sending me 75W85 GL-5.

Thank you guys.
