Laredo 2014 , how to install switchback leds ?

Hi everyone , i bought Switchback leds for parking light and turn signal , it came with 50w resistor , i installed it with the resistor attached to (Black wire and White with brown line ) as it is supposed to be , but when i run the engine and switch to the turn signal the led switch to amber and doesn't blink even after switching the signal off it doesn't switch to white it keeps amber , any suggestions ? Led pic attached and thank you

Did you try plugging the led bulb in the socket the other way?

Have you wired across the bulb ?

I have wired it with all available possibilities , when i wire the ground(black) wire with white(brown line on it) it works when the car is on acc, but when i run the engine the problem starts , i thing it's related to the resistor type , i want to order othe ones but i don't knoe wich ones? 25w or other types of 50w ?

Note" i tried wiring with other wire it does nothing "

The resistor needs to be 50W to handle the heat produced. The resistor value should be 8 ohms. This produces the required load to match the original bulb. Check to see if you are using 8 ohms. Some use 6 ohms but this is overkill and just produces more heat in the resistor. A resistor is required for each side (left and right turn signal).

Looking further, I realised that you are using dual white/amber LEDs. There are various wiring configurations. You may have the wrong type (see pic).
There grounds are wired differently on the bulb.

The resistor only needs to be wired across the turn signal.

Re: Laredo 2014 , how to install switchback leds ?

Ok so I just went out and checked my switchbacks and I have 50watt 6 ohm resistors wired to each bulb. I have 1 wire going to the pos+ turn signal wire and the other grounded to the body. My rear turn signals have a 3 flash burst of strobe for each time the bulb is suppose to blink once. So instead of blink......blink.....blink, I have flash flash flash....flash flash flash...flash flash flash.

This will help show how my rear turn signals work. It's cell phone video so it's not the best but you'll get the picture.

So i assume your doesn't work as supossed as well ? It's hyper flashing , my resistors are 6ohm 50w too as i think

No mine work as they should. White parking light and amber turn signals. They should not hyper flash when wired correctly.
