Its kind of a shitty pic. The LED Strip light is perfect. Had to go back and re-attach it to the underside of the frame with 3m automotive tape. The strip lights came with 3m tape but only seemed to be scotch double sided and after a few days it started to sag a bit. 3M automotive is the way to go.

Wonder if there is a way to get these little projectors into the side mirrors...? Yes drilling would suck but I think it would give a better effect? Unless closer to the ground makes the image more focused...

Re: LED Approach/Entry/Puddle Lighting Mod write-up!!!

Interesting concept for those that don't want to drill a hole in their door... Definitely bulky but at least it can be replaced/removed easier.

The only thing is quality! I wonder if there's a way for the GTRLighting guys to do this with their cree leds.

Re: LED Approach/Entry/Puddle Lighting Mod write-up!!!

Lumax
Those projectors look interesting how big are they? Height from ground to projector will determine size of projection, closer smaller. Attached are pictures of the kit. The projector piece is approximately 1.5" in length, don't know how easy it would be to put in mirror. Yes; drilling a hole in bottom of mirror wouldn't look good. Plus don't know how they would hold up to water exposure inside mirror. I also used the PlasmaGlow LED lighting on my 2004 C5 Corvette Coupe, but not the projector LEDs.
