Should work. The leds are only replacements for the DRL's.

Yes they will work in the Laredo, but you should also keep an eye on the thread below as some people are having issues with DRL LED's

Be careful with LED DRL's

Per the other thread, my 360 Novas have been good to go in the DRL's for over a year. Those shown were the Neutrons, which appeared to overheat for elongated use in the DRL's. FWIW, I do use the Neutrons for the main reverse lights obviously over shorter time periods - also good to go for over a year.

moosehead you have pics of your neutrons on the back-up lights? i'm wanting to do the same, but wasn't sure since it's front firing instead of 360 and what about the back-up lights on the tailgate area.

Re: LED DRL Replacement Install w/pics

I wanted to drag this out of the archives to find out if those folks who are using the Nova LED's for their DRL's are still using them and are happy with their choice? Any melting/Overheating issues?

Re: LED DRL Replacement Install w/pics

2+ years no issues here on the Nova DRL's or Neutron reverse bulbs.

As mentioned earlier in this thread, just don't use the Neutrons up front.

Re: LED DRL Replacement Install w/pics

Dont know if it was mentioned..but you dont need to remove anything to get access to the driver's side drl. You access it by the wheel inner fender. There is a cap that you twist and that gives you access to headlights. Just turn your wheel all the way to have more room

Re: LED DRL Replacement Install w/pics

These Philips 3157 LED bulbs should be fantastic as the DRL!! They project the light back into the chrome reflector - as opposed to inside the Jeep emblem within the headlight:

They are literally the only "road-legal" 3157 LED bulbs in the market.

Hi Steve,

I have been following the thread but with so much info and options it can become pretty intimidating to figure out what I need. I have a 2014 Altitude with stock lighting. I have three questions:

1.) Will I need the CANbus upgrade added to these?

2.) To properly upgrade my remaining lights, what Halogen package can you direct me to for:
- Headlights
- Fog Lights

3.) Will the Halogen package be counter intuitive if my DRL's are LED? Should I consider upgrading to LED everything?

Thanks!

Hi,

Thanks for taking the time to post.

As per your questions:

(1) Can you clarify what you mean by halogen package? Are you simply looking for better halogen bulbs?

(2) Fogs - same thing?

Would it be possible to give you a call to discuss? IF so, please send me a PM with your phone number and I will gladly give you a call to discuss.

Steve

How are these on heat? I have seen a lot of folks with overheated sockets using other LED's
Thanks!
