Lift Gate Spoiler Removal

The process to remove the rear lift gate spoiler seems pretty straight forward, but how/where can you attach the wiper spray nozzle if you want to keep the spoiler off permanently? Putting my skis on the rack this morning, the tips were hitting the spoiler and the rack is mounted in the most forward position.
thanks!
