Lift Jeep Using Crossmembers

Just want to get a straight forward opinion as to lifting this bad boy by utilizing the front and rear crossmembers on the Jeep?

Some people say nah other people say yea.

Just curious to the overall consensus

Thanks as always

Re: Lift Jeep Using Crossmembers

I always prefer to jack my Jeep up evenly instead of torquing and twisting it using only one corner at a time. I have always lifted my WK2s (and all my cars for that matter) using the metal cross members. There is a perfect spot right in the middle for both the front and rear. The front is the black crossmember with a small hole right in the middle...can't miss it. The rear cross member is the black member directly behind the pumpkin inbetween the exhaust pipes. For the rear my jack requires two pieces of 2x4 ontop of the jack to get it high enough to lift the rear wheels. Works perfectly every time no issues whatsoever.
