I agree.. The fog light and headlight indicator lights are obnoxious

I once had a cheap LCD TV that had a blue LED that turned ON when the TV was OFF...which never made sense. It was on the bedroom wall and lit up the room. It was totally unnecessarily bright and actually made it hard to go to sleep.

I had a scrap of headlight tint/protection film laying around, so I cut a small square of it off and stick it over the LED. Problem solved. I know I still have more of that stuff, so I will probably just trim a piece of that off to fit the little triangular area and apply it.

Remove the permanent sharpie the same way you remove it from a whiteboard.

Take an erasable marker and write over the permanent writing - the erasable marker ink melts the permanent ink - then erase with a rag.
