Wow, almost $400 to switch grills. I don't think they look much different since that is just the black inner section.

Re: Limited grille v. Overland grille - what's the difference?

I was able to sell the old grille on ebay for $100 to some guy who hit a deer up here in Montana, so it basically paid for the installation....I just like the way the upper & lower now match..

That's cool, and I agree it looks better with the Overland grille and the matching lower mesh.

Looking forward to my Overland grill swap soon... do I dare do the install myself?? Or do I have to take the whole bumper off to swap it?

Re: Limited grille v. Overland grille - what's the difference?

I swapped my Limited Grille in favor of the Overland Grille last weekend.

Had too remove the entire front end. Not so hard. I was also installing tow hooks and all total was about 4-hours. I took a bunch of pics but don't have access to them now. I'll throw up a picture thread in the HOW-TO/DIY section later.

I bought my Overland grille from another member for $100. Another member sold his grille for $120, so that should give you an idea of what to pay.

Yes, the chrome fascia and black insert separate very easily. I have photos of them separated.

I sold my old Limited grille to a member, REALM, for $55 and he is going to color match the chrome fascia - so look for those pics soon.

The Overland Summit grille part number is in a thread somewhere, may be under the how-to section.

I've noticed a re-hash of topics that have come up before, which is to be expected, but I urge members to try the search function, you will find that most of those questions have been answered as there is a lot of information on this site.
