Looking for mechanic shop with WiTech system

Hey does anybody know a private shop or mechanic near Toronto or anywhere within 3 hour driving distance, which has a WiTech system? I'm looking to unlock some hidden things in my 2014 overland electronics, and I've been told it's possible with the WiTech system. Dealer won't do anything off the record. I'm willing to pay full hourly labour for this to get done.

Re: Looking for mechanic shop with WiTech system

I tried to call WiTech technical support and see if they would tell me which shops have it in my area but they said they aren't authorized to release that info :/

-Change settings and view hidden settings which the car may not show you
-Flash firmware to modules
-Dump firmware from modules
-Perform diagnostic routines on modules and mechanical parts

I'm on a mission to enable folding mirrors when doors are locked. I know it sounds ridiculous lol

Yeah i believe it's something that FCA decided to disable because they'd have to face warranty claims for broken mirror motors.

The door modules are identical to the ones in the W166 Mercedes ML350 so they're definitely capable of it. And when you drive over a certain speed the mirrors unfold automatically, so the Body Control Module is definitely capable of seeing and interpreting something like that.

Re: Looking for mechanic shop with WiTech system

In Canada the mirrors unfold automatically when you drive a speed. Don't know why it's disabled in the US.

Re: Looking for mechanic shop with WiTech system

Do the US ones even have an electric motor inside them?

Anyways...$500 later and with lots of fiddling, there is no official way to enable folding mirrors with door locks on the grand Cherokee, even if you already have power folding mirrors. Even with witech and Chrysler engineering software. Unless you write custom firmware for the door module...which isn't happening unless you work at Chrysler.

Where there other adjustments that you made?
