Need Help with HID installations

Hey guys , I need some help with installing HID's for the headlights and fogs. I tried searching the forum for correct setup that 2015 GC needs but found info only for 2014. I couldn't find any DIY steps how to install HIDs on 2015 model, does the bumper requires being removed?

I read that headlights need a Canbus ballast, power relay harness and warning cancelers. On other sites it was mentioned the most Canbus ballasts already come with pre installed cancelers.
Do I need to add a canceler to the headlight setup ?
Is the power relay harness necessary ?
Can the fog lights use standard 35w ballasts without any additional wiring?
I was wondering where does the cancelers get plugged in, between the light harness and HID Balast ?

Any advice or recommendations would be very helpful.

Re: Need Help with HID installations

So today I removed my front bumper and installed canbus ballasts with a relay harness for my headlights. For the fog lights I installed regular slim ballasts with capacitors. I ran into several issues that are still not resolved. When the car is off both headlights and fogs are working perfectly. Once the car is turned on the fogs flicker and the headlights work but a loud buzzing noise coming from the relay.
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong ????
Please help!!!

So you don't have any cancellers installed? You need to get them regardless don't just assume canbus ballasts will do the job. They should be installed inbetween the relay and the ballasts. you can also try removing the power relay and run them directly from the head light socket.

Question for you. How did you remove the rivets in the fenders (wheel wells) to remove the bumper

I purchased them from xenonhid and they told me their canbus ballasts already have cancellers installed within them. I put cancellers on my fogs. Everything works except now there is a loud noise coming from the relay. I think that has something to do with DRL.

I removed the rivets by taking a small screwdriver and pushing through the middle. It pops in then you are able to remove it. Although I had a hard time getting them back on.

I would still get cancellers in between them.
